Special Issue on Atmospheric Physics and Planetary Atmospheres
Earth and Planetary Physics (EPP) invites contributions to a special issue on atmospheric physics of both Earth and Planets.
This special issue includes, but not limited to, cloud physics, radiation transfer and remote sensing, cloud and radiation schemes/processes in numerical models, lightning and transient luminous event (TLE), radiative forcings of greenhouse gases, anthropogenic and volcanic aerosols, climate dynamics and climate change, stratospheric dynamics, gravity waves, the ozone layer, thermal tides, atmospheric detections, and planetary atmospheres.
Earth and Planetary Physics (EPP) is a new English journal, co-sponsored by the Chinese Geophysical Society (CGS); the Institute of Geology and Geophysics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences; and Science Press. EPP is free access on website http://www.eppcgs.org. It is hosted online by the AGU with Wiley, and archived via the Wiley Online Library (https://agupubs.onlinelibrary.wiley.com). The publication fees are free for the first two years.
Guest Editors for this special issue are:
Yongyun Hu, Peking University;
Xiushu Qie, Institute of Atmospheric Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences;
Tianjun Zhou, Institute of Atmospheric Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences.
The deadline for submission of this special issue is 31 November 2018. Publication is planned for the March 2019 issue of EPP.
Manuscripts should be submitted via http://mc03.manuscriptcentral.com/epphy under the category “Atmospheric Physics and Planetary Atmospheres”.
